Thefts from Vehicles

Dear Resident, 

Following a recent rise in thefts from vehicles being reported to Police in West Lothian, officers are reminding the public to ensure that when vehicles are parked at home, workplaces or elsewhere, that they are kept secured with any valuables removed from open display. 

Leaving items such as handbags, sunglasses and rucksacks in open view may make your vehicle a target to opportunistic criminals.
